- Senior Machinery Engineer, a 32 months’ contract – residential position for Yokohama, Japan.
The vacancy is for an LNG Operating Company here in Qatar but to be based at their overseas offsite project. Reporting to the Lead Machinery Engineer, the role will provide expertise and guidance on all aspects of EPC turbo machineries. Our client requires completion of degree in engineering, 15 years minimum experience involving detailed design and procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and start-up of large rotating equipments. Professional Skills:
As an Intermediate Building Services Engineer, you will be expected to develop the knowledge and skills attained during your academic training at university.
Duties will compromise but not be limited to:
• Assist in the preparations of design and site supervision of mechanical and electrical building services
• Space heating systems
• Ventilation
• Air conditioning and comfort cooling
• Process plant
• Domestic hot and cold water services
• Lighting
• Electrical services
• Plumbing
• Kitchen equipment
• Lifts
• Fire detection and alarm systems
• Security systems
• Telephone and IT systems
• Building and energy management systems
• Value engineering analysis
• Added value to the design
• Assist calculation, design, drawing and specification of the aforementioned
• Carry out troubleshooting exercises associated with energy consumption and the provision of suitable internal conditions, surveys, reports, schedules of dilapidation and feasibility reports

You will be expected to have attained a recognised degree in the construction profession and acquired knowledge or skills in the following areas:
• Good all-round knowledge of the construction industry
• Knowledge of IT and the ability to use a variety of computer software
• Possess exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Use of Hevacomp
• Use of Dialux
• Use of Relux
• Use of Amtech
Knowledge of the following:
• Building construction
• Building services engineering (electrical)
• Building regulations
• Standard forms of contract
