A reputed company in its field is for a highly motivated candidate to fill the following position in their Qatar Operation:
Financial Accountant:
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
- Comply with company, and country policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers and computers.
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
- Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in accounting
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Preference will be given to Qatari candidates.
- Excellent English language skills. Arabic is an added advantage
- Good computer knowledge
