Senior Project Planner - Topside and Commissioning
Responsibility for
- planning of the topside and
- planning of overall commissioning.
Typical tasks:
- Participate in the tender process for the Topside contracts, ensure that planning principles are used to control contracts and purchasing in preparation establishment, and the evaluation of bids.
- Follow-up of Topside contracts wrt planning
- Provide project weekly / monthly progress status reporting based on Contractors input
- Follow up and ensure active steering of plans, milestones, critical path and risks
- Monitoring float development within the schedules and between contracts
- Communicate plans and status to project members
- Active participation in planning discussions with project management, the project organisation and suppliers
- Facilitating between the various project areas or within contracts to ensure an optimal use of time and money
- Co-ordination within project organisation including sub-project planners and suppliers
- Facilitating between the various project areas or within a portfolio to ensure an optimal use of time and money
- Establish and evaluate input to the risk management process from Contractors
- Evaluate risk issues with possible schedule effects and be involved in defining mitigation measures and evaluating their potential success
- Provide input to the risk management process
- Facilitate verification of project planning and progress monitoring at Contractor’s site
- Contribute to the bi-yearly baseline updates
- Monitoring schedule change control
- Establish and maintain plans for offshore installation, commissioning and start-up for production
- Establish and update detail Work Package schedule for commissioning work onshore and all project related work at Completion Site.
- Report due dates for materials to onshore base and offshore
- Maintain vendor (ATS) and sub contractor call-off plan as part of the commissioning plan onshore and the ICC plan.
- Issue offshore installation schedules and manpower forecast reports to onshore and offshore management
- Issue weekly installation (offshore scope) and commissioning progress report
- Exchange experiences and benchmarking with other projects internally
- Contribute to experience transfer feedback to templates and governing documents

Desired Skills & Experience
Competence requirements:
University level - or equivalent. Relevant experience can compensate for education
Minimum 5 years experiences with planning and scheduling from offshore projects
Good knowledge of Safran Planner/ Safran Project
Knowledge of the Project Completion System (ProCoSys)
Structured and systematic
Good social skills and cultural awareness
Flexible, creative and analytical
High ethical awareness and integrity
Independent and resourceful
