Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Monthly report of Reviewing the network to capture any actual / potential network deficiencies that may affect service thru network study and / or outage root cause analysis
• Develop relevant applicable solutions / reports to overcome identified network deficiencies/SPOF
• Study the DDN documents and make comments, as requested by the Company
• Determine spare parts, tools and test equipment requirements for newly acquired NE's / Stations
• Study PAT / FAT test documents, make comments
• Study MOPs of new links/rings and make comments where necessary
• Assist in manpower planning and training requirements at project level, contribute in course development
• Suggest quality control measures and take necessary steps to improve the overall performance
• Arrange all MDT related to Transmission equipment required in the network
• Study MNS activities in sites and functions process /flow chart /forms proposals and prepare work documents and guidelines
• Develop ,Control, review and evaluate preventive and corrective maintenance routines performed evaluate results and correct or initiate remedy works
• Develop inventory database and keep maintain and update the record
• Follow up all pending TT and keep record and update the Log- File related to all activities
• Provide technical support to field teams when required in case of failure or investigation
• Determine spare parts, tools and test equipment requirements for BASE LINE ICON and update support engineer
• Prepare Ramadan / Hajj Plans (spear part, tools, instrument, manpower …)
• Prepare monthly report of the KPI and comprehensive report if the weakness in the network and solutions
Enforce and implement work processes and policies
• Control, review and evaluate preventive maintenance activities performed in the field
• Follow-up corrective maintenance (fault clearing) and provide field support if so required and update TTS
programs and report deficiency (OILs and SDR,s)
• Schedule and supervise staff activities in the field and inspect sites for deficiencies and cleanliness
• Prepare reports on outage investigations
• Monitor the activities of technicians to ensure that work schedule is being implemented properly and evaluate the result to meet the accepted standards
• Assist and participate in staff assessment and propose further action for training and job improvement
• Support and advise on administrative issues like work plan, vacation schedules and staff assignment
