PDS Piping Designers
Our client who is involved in the petrochemical industry, is actively recruiting an Intermediate PDS Piping Designer. The successful candidate will have PDS software, modeling, and experience in development of piping scope in intermediate projects. All design/drafting work will be performed in thier facility near the Red Deer area.
This person will mostly be working independently but in coordination with the Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager. The Intermediate PDS Piping Designer is recognized for leading design alternatives, alternative selection construction plans/details, developing bill of Materials and construction data ensuring safe designs are in line with NCX engineering standards.

Our client is a long established worldwide consulting Engineers who work on Industrial Process Plants and do work with all the Major blue chip end user clients due to continuous project work expansion The Mechanical Department head in Ireland is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is Degree qualified and has 10+ years Utilities Design Experience Inc.: Boilers, Chillers, Hydraulics and all Mechanical Equipment associated with large scale Industrial Process Plants Inc.: Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Brewery, Waste to Energy etc. Main Aspects of the role will be to take the lead on Design and Updating Piping Specifications, PED Pipelines, Hydraulic lines, Steam Lines.
Proven track record in utilities systems design including:
• Chilled water and glycol systems
• Thermal fluid systems
• Refrigeration systems
• Steam systems
• Hot water systems
• Cooling water systems
• Compressed air systems
• Vacuum systems
• Specification of mechanical plant including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressors, pumps
• Piping specifications
• Hydraulic calculations
• P&ID's
• Pipe stress analysis
• PED and piping PMA's
• CE marking
• Risk assessments, safety and constructability reviews
• Preparation of tender and construction packages
