Site Control Manager

REQUIREMENTS
• B.Sc. in Engineering;
• 15 years experience in Oil & Gas with 10 years proven experience in similar roles;
• Competence with Primavera software;
• English at a high level in required.

SALARY & BENEFITS
• Rotation period: every 91 days of presence in UAE is followed by 15 days leave plus 2 travel days;
• Monthly Salary: 5500 Euro/ month payable in an account of candidate’s choice;
• Local Salary (mandatory): 5000 AED (1115 Euro) - (pocket money included);
• Accommodation: provided in Compound by company (Single bedroom, private bathroom; common kitchen & living room);
• Board: canteen at site;
• Local transport: provided by client;
• Mobilisation/ Demobilisation Transport: Once arrived at the airport, pick-up and 2 nights hotel accommodation provided by local manager. After completion of all required paperwork he will be ready to reach the site.
• Working hours: 10 hours a day for 6 days.

JOB SUMMARY
• The Site Control Manager reports to the Site Manager and is in close coordination with the Project Control Manager (PCM);
• He develops and updates the detailed construction activity programs, highlighting any critical area and delays;
• He is responsible of material control, planning implementation, as well as progress and reporting activity;
• He supplies to the Site Manager the preliminary evaluations of any impacts capable of jeopardizing the progress of the works.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• To develop/ detail project procedures related to Site control activities, if any;
• To set-up Project Control Tools identified to plan and control the site activities;
• To promote and clarify the implementation at site of Department tools developed for material management, planning development, progress monitoring and reporting;
• To implement a proper reporting system towards Client and Corporate Management, in compliance with the Contract requirements and project procedures as well as with Corporate Standards;
• To coordinate the preparation of Level 4 Construction Schedule within the time extent already established in the Level 3 Project Schedule;
• To coordinate the preparation of Level 4 Construction Progress Curves and Manpower histograms;
• To follow up the preparation of Details schedules to be developed by Subcontractors as per their contractual obligations;
• To coordinates the progress assessment at the cut-off dates foreseen by the procedures;
• To coordinates the Level 4 Schedule updating at the cut-off dates foreseen by the procedure;
• To analyze any deviations from the baseline, evaluate the impact on the downstream activities and propose any corrective actions, recovery plan as appropriate;
• To review the actual Contractors manpower availability to ensure the effective K factor evolution;
• To coordinates the evaluation of Variation Orders originated at site and/ or portion of the same regarding site activities;
• To coordinates the ETC estimate for all Site costs in accordance with CBS requirements;
• To ensure the timely updating of Supervision staff forecast, including Vendors;
• To assess the impact on work progress of Project changes and changes in quantities;
• To verify the feasibility of Construction schedules with the scheduled deliveries of documents and materials and updated information received from Home Office;
• To monitor constantly the performance of subcontractors in terms of efficiency and progress reached;
• To prepare with the assistance of Construction Manager and Supervisors, recovery schedule in order to mitigate delay if any;
• To coordinate material management system to support both information for construction feasibility and material handling for construction works;
• To ensure timely applications for insurance claims and back-charges to vendors for damages and non-conformities;
• Give proper feed-back relevant to progress of construction activities to Home Office.

PDS designer / engineer


Looking for PDS designer / engineer

Requirements:

- minimum 3 years experience in piping routing and pipe support design

- good PDS skills (Pelican Forge, SP3D, AutoPlant or PDMS represent a plus)

- good Microstation and AutoCAD skills

- stress analysis CAESAR (for engineers only; desired but not mandatory)

- English language – intermediate or higher level

- willing to accept foreign assignments

Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Plant Project Experience)
Our client has been awarded the Services and Utilities Installation on a large Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plant project in The Sligo area of Ireland and they are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager who will take charge and project manage all aspects of The Piping (High Purity), Mechanical/HVAC, Ductwork and Electrical and Instrument Installation through to Handover.
You will be degree qualified or equivalent and have at least 7+ year's experience as a Project Manager on the Mechanical, High Purity and E+I services installation of Large Scale Pharmaceutical Projects.
Our client would prefer to recruit someone on a Permanent Staff Basis but will also consider someone who is willing to commit to a long term contract role.
Location: Sligo.
Salary/Rate: Negotiable depending on Experience etc.
