DCS Commissioning Engineer for Saudi Arabia (Immediate Joining)

We are looking for DCS Commissioning Engineer for 6 months extendable contract durationfor our client in Saudi Arabia for immediate joining.

Job Description:
BE / B Tech in Instrumentation Engineering with 15+ years experience out of which at least 10 years experience as DCS Commisioning of Steam Turbines in Mega Power Projects.

Responsibilities:

• The DCS Commissioning Engineer will work as part of a DCS commissioning team in support the entire plant start-up and commissioning process
• Interpret and validate DCS control logic, Process control tuning, as per site tuning procedures, including assembling test documentation and recording tuning history.
• Prepare design change notifications based to reflect any changes made to system control philosophy.
• Validate instrumentation and electrical loop checks and to troubleshoot DCS hardware/software issues, as needed.
• Work with EPC Contractor package vendors/system test engineers to commission remote PLC systems including supporting control and instrumentation testing and commissioning back to the DCS.
• Review and validate system testing and turnover documentation including scoped documents, test records, test procedures and other similar required documents
• Support the completion of DCS functional testing per project pre-op procedures and other specific procedures which may be required to be prepared in this position.
• Review EPC Contractor submitted  test records, data sheets, etc. to fully document testing activities
• Review system turnover packages in accordance with project procedures by assembling and reviewing all system test documentation (all disciplines) for adequacy and completeness
• Provide input to EPC Contractor on revisions required to system descriptions, vendor operating and maintenance manuals, etc. based on review of documents during development of the preoperational test procedures and executing of the commissioning to ensure all such documents are consistent;
• Review and/or submit necessary design change and non-conformance documents in accordance as required to document as-built conditions and/or properly resolve deficiencies
• Participate in system turnover walkdowns for both Construction and Client turnovers; initiate, track and resolve punchlist items for assigned areas of responsibility
• Use well developed interpersonal skills to interact closely and frequently with client management and operations and maintenance personnel while maintaining a level of commercial awareness that does not create adverse exposure to the project's financial and schedule positions
• Work hours as required, including shift-work, overtime, weekends, night-shift and holidays as necessary to support the project
• Perform other duties as directed in support of project activities

QA/QC Inspectors for Shutdown Projects in Saudi Arabia

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgical with min 8 Years Exp. In Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) in Refineries / Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industries. Should be Certified NDE Level II RT, MT, PT, VT, UTT and have current AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 Certification. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of codes such as ASME Section I, V, VIII and IX, ASME B31.3, API 510, 570, 653 and / or applicable Standards. API Certification preferablebut not mandatory.
