ஆரோக்கிய உணவு (Healthy food)

உயிர் வாழ உணவு தேவை என்பது சாதாரண வாக்கியம். வெறும் வாழ்தல் என்பதனைத் தவிர்த்து, ஆரோக்கியமாய் வாழ்தல் வேண்டும் என்றால், நமக்கு நிச்சயம் தேவை "ஆரோக்கிய உணவு".

ஆரோக்கிய உணவு என்றால் பெரும்பான்மையானவர்களுக்கு நினைவுக்கு வருவது, வீட்டில் அம்மா வற்புறுத்திக் கொடுத்து வேண்டாவெறுப்பாய் சாப்பிடும் பெயர் தெரியாத கீரைகள் போன்ற ஒரு சில உணவு பதார்த்தங்கள்தான். கட்டாயப்படுத்தலின் பேரில் உண்ணப்படும் ருசியற்ற உணவுகள்தான் ஆரோக்கிய உணவா? என்றால் நிச்சயம் இல்லை. பின் எவைதான் ஆரோக்கிய உணவு?

நாம் உண்ணும் அனைத்திலும் ஏதேனும் ஒன்று அல்லது பலச் சத்துக்கள் மலிந்துள்ளன. நம் உடல்நிலைக்கு ஏற்ற, நமக்கு தேவையான சத்துக்களைத் தரக்கூடிய உணவுகளை போதுமான அளவிற்கு உண்பதுதான் ஆரோக்கிய உணவு என்பதாகும். நாம் விரும்பி உண்ணும் உணவினையே, அதில் சேர்க்கப்படும் பொருட்களின் அளவினை கூட்டுதல் அல்லது குறைத்தல் மூலம் ஆரோக்கிய உணவாய் மாற்றிக் கொள்ள இயலும். ஆரோக்கிய உணவின் அடிப்படை அம்சங்கள் இந்த மூன்றுதான்,

1. நம் உடல்நிலைக்கு ஏற்றது
2. தேவையான சத்துக்கள் நிறைந்தது
3. அளவோடு உண்பது

என்னுடைய உடல்நிலைக்கு ஏற்ற உணவு எது என்று யாரேனும் கேள்வி எழுப்பினால் அதற்கு பதில் அளிப்பது மிகவும் சிரமம். ஒவ்வொருவர் உடல்நிலையும் ஒவ்வொரு விதத்தில் இருக்கும். கீரைகள், காய்கறிகள், பழங்கள் போன்றவற்றை பொதுவில் எல்லா தரப்பினருக்கும் பரிந்துரைக்கலாம். ஆனால் குறிப்பாக இவைதான் உங்களுக்கு பொருத்தமான உணவு என்று சொல்லவேண்டும் என்றால் தங்களுடைய உடல்நிலை குறித்த முழுமையான விபரங்கள் தேவைப்படும். ஆகையால் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களது உடல் குறித்த உண்மையான நிலையினை மருத்துவரின் உதவியோடு அறிந்து வைத்து இருத்தல் மிகவும் அவசியம்.

உங்களது எடை மற்றும் உயரத்தினை அவ்வப்போது சோதித்து நினைவில் வைத்துக் கொள்ளவும். இது மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. பிறகு தங்களது எடை தங்களது உயரத்தினைப் பொறுத்து ஆரோக்கியமானதுதானா என்பதனை தெரிந்து கொள்ளவும். இதற்கு உடல் பருமன் சுட்டினை (Body Mass Index) பயன்படுத்துங்கள்.

உங்களது உடல்நிலை ஆரோக்கியமாக சாதாரண நிலையில் உள்ளதா என்பதனை மருத்துவரின் உதவியோடு அறிந்துகொள்ளவும். வெளியில் தெரியாத நோய்கள், பரம்பரை நோய்களின் தாக்கத்திற்கான வாய்ப்பு முதலிய விபரங்களையும் தெரிந்து வைத்திருத்தல் அவசியம். நோய்கள் ஏதேனும் இருப்பின், நோயின் தீவிரம், என்ன வகை, அதனால் தவிர்க்க வேண்டிய உணவுகள் எவை என்பது போன்ற கேள்விகளுக்கும் பதில் அறிந்துகொள்ளவும்.

உங்களது உடல் குறித்த விபரங்கள் தெரிந்து கொண்டபின் உணவு மற்றும் உணவுபொருட்கள் குறித்த சில அடிப்படை விசயங்களைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளுதல் மிகவும் அவசியம்.

உணவுப்பொருட்களில் அடங்கியுள்ள சத்துக்கள், அவற்றின் பயன்கள் ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றின தெளிந்த அறிவு, ஆரோக்கிய உணவினைத் தேர்வு செய்ய மிகவும் உதவியாய் இருக்கும்.

ஒருவர் எத்தனை முறை உண்ணவேண்டும், எவ்வளவு உண்ணவேண்டும் என்பது அவரது வயது, பால், எடை, உடல் உழைப்பு இவற்றைப் பொறுத்தது. ஒருவருக்கு நாள் ஒன்றுக்கு எவ்வளவு சக்தி(கலோரி) தேவைப்படுகின்றது என்பதனைப் பொறுத்து அவரது உணவுப்பழக்கத்தினை அமைத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். கலோரிகள் குறித்த பக்கத்தில் இதற்கான விளக்கங்கள் உள்ளன. கலோரி கணிப்பானைக் (Calorie Calculator) கொண்டும் தங்களுக்கு தேவையான கலோரிகளின் உத்தேச அளவினைக் கணக்கிட்டுக் கொள்ளலாம்.

இத்தனை விசயங்களைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டுதான் சமைக்க வேண்டுமா? உண்ணவேண்டுமா? என்ற கேள்வியை எழுப்பினால் அவசியம் இல்லை என்றுதான் பதில் சொல்லவேண்டி வரும். காலம் காலமாக பழக்கத்தில் இருந்து வரும் ஒரே மாதிரியான உணவிற்கு உடலை பழக்கப்படுத்தி கொள்வதின் மூலம் ஆரோக்கியமாக வாழ இயலும். ஆனால் இன்றைய அவசர யுகத்தில் அது பெரும்பான்மையானவர்களுக்கு சாத்தியமாக இருப்பது இல்லை. இந்த நிலையில் நாம் உண்ணும் உணவு குறித்த அறிவு நமக்கு மிகவும் அவசியம் ஆகின்றது. இதனை தெரிந்து கொள்வதினால் நாம் இழக்கப்போவது ஒன்றும் இல்லை. இதனைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ள நாம் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதையும் செலவழிக்கப் போவது இல்லை. ஆகையால் ஆரோக்கிய வாழ்விற்கு இந்த அடிப்படை விசயங்களை அத்யாவசிய அறிவாய் மாற்றிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

தலைமுடி பராமரித்தல்

அகத்தின் அழகு முகத்தில் தெரியும் என்பார்கள். அழகு என்பது வெறும் வெளித்தோற்றம் சார்ந்த விசயம் மட்டும் அல்ல. மேக்கப் சாதனங்களால் வண்ணங்களை பூசி, உண்மை தோற்றத்தை மறைத்து, போலி அலங்காரம் கொடுக்கும் விசயமும் அல்ல. உள்ளத்தூய்மையும், உடல் தூய்மையுமே உண்மையான அழகு. உள்ளத் தூய்மை என்பது மனம் சார்ந்த விசயம். அது ஒரு தனிக்கடல். இங்கே உடல் தூய்மையை கருவாய் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, தலை முடி முதல் பாதம் அடி வரை உடல் உறுப்புகளை எவ்வாறு பராமரிப்பது, அவற்றை அழகாய், ஆரோக்கியமாய் வைத்துக் கொள்வது எப்படி என்பதை திருமதி. தேவா அவர்கள் விளக்குகின்றார். அறுசுவை மன்றத்தில் பல வருடங்களாக அழகுக் குறிப்புகள் கொடுத்து, அனைவருக்கும் பரிச்சயமாய் இருக்கும் தேவா அவர்களுக்கு அறிமுகம் தேவையில்லை. ஒவ்வொரு வாரமும் ஒவ்வொரு உறுப்புகளை பராமரிப்பது பற்றி இங்கே விளக்குகின்றார்.

'அறிவை கூந்தலின் நறியவும் உளவோ' என்ற குறுந்தொகை காலந்தொட்டு, கார் குழல், கருமேகக் கூந்தல் என்று இன்றளவும் தலைமுடிக்கு கவிஞர்கள் முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து வருகின்றார்கள். அதில் நியாயம் இருக்கின்றது. புறத்தோற்றத்தை சிறப்பாய் காட்டுவதில் முதன்மை வகிப்பது தலைமுடிதான். அதனால்தான், வாழ்க்கையில் எதை இழந்தும் கவலைப்படாத பலர், தலைமுடி உதிர்வதற்கு வாழ்க்கையே தொலைந்ததுபோல் வருத்தப்படுவார்கள். உடலின் உச்சியில் இருக்கும் அந்த அதிமுக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த தலைமுடி பராமரிப்பில் இருந்து இந்த பகுதி தொடங்குகின்றது.

தலைமுடி

முடி உதிரும் பிரச்சனை, பொடுகுத் தொல்லை, வழுக்கை என்று பலருக்கும் தலைமுடி சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பிரச்சனைகள் இருக்கின்றது, குழந்தையின் க்ராடில் க்ராப்பிலிருந்து வயதானவர்கள் வரை தலை முடி சம்பந்தப்பட்ட பிரச்சனைகள் ஏராளம். காலம் காலமாக நமது வீடுகளில் பல இயற்கை முறைகளை பின்பற்றி வந்தாலும், தலைமுடி பிரச்சனை இன்னமும் இருந்து கொண்டேதான் இருக்கிறது. முக்கியமாக வெளிநாடு செல்பவர்கள், எனக்கு இந்த தண்ணீர் ஒத்துக்கொள்ள மாட்டேன் என்கிறது என்று சொல்லக் கேட்டிருக்கின்றோம். ஓரளவிற்கு தண்ணீரால் முடி கொட்டும் என்பது உண்மையென்றாலும், நாம் சாப்பிடும் உணவு, கடைபிடிக்கும் சில வழிமுறைகள் மூலமாக இந்தப் பிரச்சனையை தவிர்க்கலாம்.

தொட்டிலில் தொடர்ந்து படுப்பதால், பிறந்த குழந்தைகளுக்கு பொடுகு தொல்லை ஏற்படும். இதனை போக்க தலையில் எண்ணெய் வைத்து 10 நிமிடம் போல் ஊறவிட்டு பிறகு அலசவேண்டும். தொட்டில் துணியை அடிக்கடி மாற்ற வேண்டும். ஒரே இடத்தில் தொடர்ந்து தூங்கினால் சிறிது இடம் மாற்றிப் போடவேண்டும்.

தலைமுடி உதிரும் பிரச்சனைக்கு ஆண்களைப் பொறுத்த வரை பரம்பரையும் ஒரு காரணமாக இருக்கிறது. அதற்கு ஹேர் வீவிங் போன்ற சில சிகிச்சை முறைகளைத்தவிர வேறு எந்த மருந்தும், உணவும் தீர்வாக சொல்லப்படவில்லை. சின்ன வெங்காயம் தடவுவது, மூலிகை எண்ணெய் தடவுவது போன்ற சிகிச்சை முறைகள் சொல்லப்பட்டாலும் அதன் பலன் 100% இருப்பதாக யாரும் சொல்ல முடியாது. பெண்களைப் பொறுத்தவரை வழுக்கை என்ற விஷயம் இல்லாவிட்டாலும் முடி கொட்டுவது என்பது பொதுவான பிரச்சனையாக இருக்கிறது. முடி கொட்டுவதற்கு நாம் உட்கொள்ளும் உணவும் நல்ல சமச்சீரான, சத்தான உணவாக இருப்பது அவசியம். தைராய்டு பிரச்சனை இருப்பவர்களுக்கும், இரத்த சோகை இருப்பவர்களுக்கும் முடி கொட்டுதல் அதிகமாக இருக்கும். மருத்துவரை கலந்து ஆலோசித்து அவர் சொல்லும் வழிமுறைகளை பின்பற்றுவதே இதற்கு நல்ல தீர்வு. நாம் கூந்தலை சரியான முறையில் பராமரிக்கும் போது முடி கொட்டுவதை தவிர்க்கலாம். பொடுகு தலையில் இருந்தாலும் முடி கொட்டும்.

தலையை வாரம் இரு முறை அலசினால் போதுமானது. ஷாம்பூ போட்டு அலசும் போது நமது முடி இழக்கும் ஈரப்பதத்தை மீண்டும் ஈடுகட்டவும், முடியின் pH அளவை சமச்சீராக வைத்திருக்கவும், முடி ஸ்மூத்தாக இருக்கவும் கண்டிஷனர்(conditioner) உதவுகிறது. கண்டிஷனரை வேர்க்கால்களில் படாமல் அப்ளை செய்வது நல்லது. மேலோட்டமாக மண்டையில் படாமல் ( 1 செ.மீ அளவேனும் இடைவெளி விட்டு) முடிக்கு மட்டும் படுமாறு கண்டிஷனர் அப்ளை செய்தால் முடி கொட்டாமல் ஸ்ட்ராங்காக இருக்கும். அடிக்கடி அல்லது தினமும் தலை குளிப்பவர்கள் மிகவும் மைல்டான ஷாம்பூ உபயோகிப்பது நல்லது. இப்போது டெய்லி கேர் ஷாம்பூக்கள் (daily care shampoo) பல மார்க்கெட்டில் கிடைக்கின்றன. தினமும் கண்டிஷனர் உபயோகிப்பது நல்லதல்ல. ஆண்ட்டி டாண்ட்ரப் ஷாம்பூக்களை தினமும் உபயோகப்படுத்துவது முடியை பாதிக்கும். வாரம் ஒரு முறை உபயோகப்படுத்தினால் போதுமானது. தலைக்கு அடிக்கடி பெர்மிங் (perming), ஸ்ட்ரெயிட்னிங் (straightening) என்று ப்யூட்டி ட்ரீட்மெண்ட் எடுத்துக் கொள்வதும் முடியை பாதிக்கும்.

மேற்கண்ட அனைத்தையும் வெயிலில் காய வைத்து மிஷினில் கொடுத்து அரைத்து வைத்துக் கொண்டால் வெறும் தண்ணீர் மட்டும் கலந்து தலைக்கு தடவி அலசலாம். சாதக் கஞ்சி தேவையில்லை. வெளிநாட்டில் இந்தப் பொருட்கள் கிடைப்பது அரிது.

பொடுகை நீக்க எத்தனையோ வழிமுறைகள் இருந்தாலும் பெரும்பாலானோர் புலம்புவது ஏன் இத்தனை ட்ரீட்மெண்ட் எடுத்தும் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பொடுகு வருகிறது என்றுதான். நன்றாக கவனமாக இருந்தோமென்றால் நிச்சயம் பொடுகை அறவே ஒழிக்க முடியும். பொடுக்கு எத்தனையோ ஆண்ட்டி டாண்ட்ரஃப் ஷாம்பூக்கள் இருக்கின்றன. Head & Shoulder, Clinic All clear மற்றும் மருந்துக் கடைகளில் கிடைக்கும் ஷாம்பூக்கள் என்று அத்தனையுமே பொடுகை நீக்கினாலும் நாம் கவனமாக இல்லாவிட்டால் மீண்டும் வந்துவிடும். இயற்கையான ட்ரீட்மெண்ட் என்றால் எலுமிச்சை சாறு மிகச்சிறந்த மருந்து. தலையில் தடவும்போது எரிச்சல் ஏற்படும். ஆனால் பொடுகை அறவே நீக்கும். மிளகு அரைத்து தயிரில் கலந்து தடவுவதும் நல்ல பலனை தரும்.

பொடுகுக்கு ட்ரீட்மெண்ட் எடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்தவுடன் முதலில் அதனை மீண்டும் வர விடாமல் இருக்க செய்ய வேண்டிய முன்னேற்பாடுகளை செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள். சீப்பு, பெட்ஷீட், போர்வை, துண்டு, தலையணை உறை எல்லாவற்றையும் கழுவி அல்லது புதிதாக உபயோகப்படுத்துக்கள். இல்லாவிட்டால் நீங்கள் ட்ரீட்மெண்ட் எடுத்த பிறகு சீப்பு வழியாகவோ, தலையணை மூலமாகவோ மீண்டும் பரவிவிட வாய்ப்பு அதிகம். தலை மிகவும் வறண்டு இருந்தாலும் பொடுகு வரும். கண்டிஷனரை தலையில் முடி வேர்வரை போட்டாலும் பொடுகு வரும்.

முடியை பெர்மிங் செய்வதாக இருந்தாலும், ஸ்ட்ரெயிட்னிங் செய்வதாக இருந்தாலும், வீட்டில் நீங்களாகவே முயற்சிப்பதற்கு முன்பு, சலோன் (parlour) சென்று ஆலோசனை பெறுங்கள். ஒவ்வொரு முடியும், முக அமைப்பும் வேறு. ஒருவருக்கு பொருந்தின ஹேர் ஸ்டைல் இன்னொருவருக்கும் பொருந்தும் என்று சொல்ல முடியாது. முடியின் தன்மை, முகவெட்டுக்கு தகுந்தாற்போல் ஹேர்ஸ்டைல் செய்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். நம்மால் பராமரிக்க முடிந்த ஹேர் ஸ்டைல் செய்து கொள்வது நல்லது.
