Seeking UAE national Quality Inspector (Aerospace/Military/Critical Industry) for AD, UAE
I am looking out for a UAE national Quality Inspector who should have experience in Aerospace/Military/Satellite or any critical industry. The candidate should be UAE national and have to have the following attributes to qualify for this role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in any of the fields mentioned above.
• Previous experience performing product verification of incoming product at customer's supplier site.
• Must have ability to read blueprints and drawings, buy off drawings, and negotiate with engineers.
• Preferably local to Abu Dhabi.

Job Description:
· Preparation of prime cost estimates, tenders in accordance with client requirements and risk analysis for justification of contingency if any for submission to management to apply mark up and arrive at tender submission price.
· Conduct value analysis of plans of projects, recommend possible alternatives; perform engineering work in the preparation, development, and review of final plans to compile detailed project cost estimates which are used for bid evaluation on projects.
· Review tender documents assessing scope, risks involved, tender complexity etc and provide feedback to the Estimation Manager.
· Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
· To interpret and follow Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
· Responsible to manage and control cost on the project through cost planning, value engineering, feasibility studies, life cycle costing, valuation, and cost estimation.
· In- conjunction with Quantity Surveyor, conduct site inspections for tender understanding, analysis of conditions, assessment of risk and identification of activities that may or may not be shown in the tender documents.
· To interpret & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
· Provide complete conceptual (or bid work) and final estimating input on complex projects.
· Provide technical support to personnel preparing discipline estimates for assigned bids and insures all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures.
· To review and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
