We are currently looking for candidates to fill in the below positions for PMC (oil and gas)project (Abudhabi) The contract is for 3 years with a further extension
1) Project Engineers, - should be a degree holder with a MBA or PMP, should have Onshore as well as offshore experience in design, construction and project management.
2) Piping Engineers – should have onshore, offshore, stress, layouts and materials experience
3) Process Engineers - should have onshore, offshore, and upstream experience
4) I & C Engineers - should have onshore, offshore experience
5) Static Engineers
6) Civil & Structural Engineer-offshore experience required
7) Rotating Eqpt Engineers :- Experience of gas turbines required.
Kindly note that candidates for the above requirement need to have 14 + years of experience, they also need to have both onshore as well as offshore design experience.
salary range for the above positions is between AED 30,000 to AED 33,000 per month. Client is willing to be flexible on the salary if they find the right candidate.

Lead Piping Engineers needed in Germany for a Global Chemical Company
My client is a global Chemical company specialising in fine, basic and speciality chemicals with a global presence of over 40 manufacturing sites in over 37 countries around the world. The company achieved a turnover last year of €9 billion. Their site in Cologne is one of the biggest in Germany housing over 2,000 employees and the Engineering department is looking to expand their Piping team.
Lead Piping Engineer
Main tasks
• Lead of the piping activities in large projects (during engineering & construction)
• Development & management of pipe specifications (pipe fittings, valves, gaskets)
• Implementation & optimization of tools for the layout/design of chemical plants and pipelines
• Professional evaluation of piping contractors
• Implementation & optimization of tools & procedures for construction & material management in the piping discipline
• Management of piping contractors including bid packages, contracting, quality assurance, progress monitoring, cost control and invoicing
• Cost estimates and benchmarking in the field of piping (engineering & construction phase)
Required competencies
• University degree (MSc or BSc) in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or in a comparable discipline ; above average mark (in Germany < 2.5)
• Very solid knowledge of relevant technical regulations and standards in the field of piping
• Experience with the design and calculation of pipelines including best practices (strength calcula-tion, stress calculation, pipe support design, routing of pipelines etc.) (> 5 years)
• Experience with specification and handling of pipe material
• Very good knowledge and experience ( > 5 years) in the field of pipe fittings, valves and gaskets, applied in the operation of chemical / petrochemical plants and/or in large investment projects for the chemical / petrochemical industry (engineering, pipe fabrication, construction)
• Very good knowledge and experience with the layout planning of plants and pipelines utilising modern 3D/2D planning tools
• Mobility for working in foreign countries (for approx. 2 – 3 years)
• Good German language skills (speaking & writing)
• Good English language skills (speaking & writing)
• Solid knowledge of claims management and contracts
• Solid knowledge of business economics & standard software applications
