JD:
Plant Layout Engineer shall be responsible for Preparation of proposals for ITB, Tendering, Estimation, Procurement, Vendor Selection, Plot Plan, Plant Layout, Building/Equipment General Arrangement Drawings, Knowledge of equipments/packages used in Power Plants, Boiler/Turbine/Generator Building Layout, BOP Area Layout Planning, Interfacing and coordination with other disciplines, Erection and Operation/Maintenance Concepts, Knowledge of Power Plant Engineering/Procurement/Erection Sequence.
Desired Profile: Graduate/Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with experience in Plot Plan & Plant Layout of Power Plants with / HRSG / Boilers / Gas Turbine / Steam Turbine. Exposure to the state of the art design software like PDS etc.
Essential Knowledge - Conversant with Indian and American Standards, Familiarity with 3D design Concept
Salary - Negotiable

In this role as Technical Safety Engineer you will be [providing safety engineering support ot the operations engineering and project engineering teams. Your key responsibility would be –
• Making sure the design complies with the HSE legislation of the UK and this companies policies
• If it does not, make recommendations
• If it does not meet company policies see justifications and see that seek company approval.
Day to Day –
• Discipline specific work regarding the project
• Monitor contractors work, ensuring that deliverables are on time and on budget
• Liaising with contractors and ensuring a positive relationship
• Review studies and reports
• Comment on reports and make recommendations
• Presentations and briefs to audiences and departments
• Develop and manage the technical specifications for work.
• Ensure compliance of safety policies and requirements
• Establish close relationships with departments and ensure compliance of legislation and standards
• Supervise work on milestone stages/key parts of the project
• Contribute in incident investigations
• Produce technical work (reports/notes)
• HAZID/HAZOP/SIC reviews
• Provide safety input unto modifications
• Undertake studies on the project; evaluate risk and major hazards on project sites.
