Our Client - Excels at transporting, installing and removing offshore facilities. These include fixed and floating structures, subsea pipelines and infrastructures in shallow, deep and ultra-deep water. They own three of the world’s largest semi-submersible crane vessels, and at this moment a new vessel which is built with the capability to execute complex deep water infrastructure and pipeline projects.
Job Description - As a Design Engineer within the team of Subsea Infrastructure and Pipelay you are responsible for the conceptual and detailed design phase of pipelay projects (preferably reel lay). You will be a part of a multidisciplinary project team and it is your responsibility to lead the engineering team of the project.
Candidate Requirements -
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Mechanical, Maritime or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
- You have at least 5 years relevant experience with conceptual and detailed design of pipelay projects (ideally reel lay).
- You are result orientated and have excellent delegating skills.
- You have comprehensive understanding of offshore projects.
- You have excellent business acumen.
- You have good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- You have the ambition to work (temporarily) offshore on our vessels, overseas or in our other offices.

Job Description - The Integrity Engineer is responsible for providing support on integrity of fixed equipment to the UK Production Unit operating sites. The role involves close working with colleagues in Engineering, Operations and HSE to deliver company and regulatory objectives for the management of integrity of fixed equipment. You will be working alongside two Senior Integrity Engineers and an Inspection Management Contractor and the role will require close liaison with the Operations teams onshore and offshore and will require both planned and ad hoc attendance at the operating sites.

Job Description – This is an office based position reporting to the Subsea Project Manager. The candidate will provide assistance with the organization and co-ordination of the technical aspects required by the project managers. Attending SITs and preparing detailed reports and making offshore site visits as required. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible to deliver packages of work for engineering activities and technical assurance as agreed with the project manager.
- Develop and co-ordinate Subsea designs and deliverables for various work packages including work associated with feasibility, conceptual and front end engineering studies.
- Responsible for planning engineering activities within the overall project schedule, ensuring all activities and/or deliverables are identified.
- Prepare and co-ordinate CTRs (or similar), and report progress in line with project procedures and develop project schedules.
- Monitor and control the project budget and schedule in order to ensure targets are met.
- To be fully familiar with all technical content of contracts within area of responsibility.
- Visit operational sites (onshore and offshore) on an ad hoc basis at critical/key project milestones as agreed with the project manager.
Candidate Requirements –
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge and experience of Subsea engineering.
- Knowledge and experience of Subsea installation.

Job Description - As a Project Engineer within the team of Subsea Infrastructure and Pipelay you are responsible for the technical execution of various projects. You are a part of a multidisciplinary project team and it is your responsibility to lead the engineering team of the project. You are responsible for setting project engineering objectives, coordinating the in-house engineering related tasks and the quality of project deliverables. You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the work on allocated projects and capacity planning of both own staff as sub-contractors is part of your daily tasks. When needed, you make sure specialist resources are involved timely. During the execution of the project you are offshore and provide the needed assistance. Additional, you are also responsible for the assessment of the performance of project team members.

Senior Engineer/Project Engineer - Diving Intervention

Job description - The diving intervention discipline is a part of the subsea construction department specialising in engineering for subsea diving projects. Ideal candidate will have a history of working within teams, and have practical engineering experience coupled with good literacy and ability to produce working documents.
Candidate Requirements-
- Higher education in combination with relevant practical work experience from oil & gas industry
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience (senior engineer position)
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience (project engineer position)
- Effective communication, to comfortably keep an open dialogue with the Client, installation vessel(s), other project members and departments such as drawing office, procurement, logistics, document control and HSE
- To understand and interpret a scope of work, to identify critical points and be pro-active with generating solutions and ideas
- Experience of creating operational procedures and documents with minimal guidance while incorporating comments from design reviews, risk assessments and good practice
- To have, or to be capable of passing an offshore survival course and medical
- To be flexible and adapt to change
- Offshore work experience that will ideally include some of the following:
- Work around wellheads
- Barriers and isolations
- Valve operations
- SCM/Electrical jumper/hydraulic hose replacement/repair
- Pipeline repair
- Weld inspection - GVI, CVI, ACFM, MPI, FMD etc
- Diver access around platforms, inlets/outlets etc
- Tie-ins of rigid pipelines, flexible pipelines, umbilical's, pull-ins
- Deck plans including sea fastening, electrical wiring, overboarding
- Clamp installation to platform jackets
- Pre-commissioning
- Experience of working in the capacity of an Engineer offshore, aboard construction vessels in the North Sea is preferred, but not essential.
