Job Description - We are currently recruiting for SURF Engineers of all levels.
You will:
- Plan and organize own work load.
- Perform installation engineering for various subsea products and items.
- Utilise internal expertise by ensuring that relevant reviews of technical solutions are conducted on the installation workscope.
- Present and conduct design reviews, risk assessments and HazOps on the installation workscope.
- Perform sub-contractor follow up as required.
- Perform risk mitigation of the installation workscope and incorporate into offshore procedures.
- Provide technical and installation input into equipment selection and vessel design (eg. Tensioners, VLS, design).
- Provide input into dynamic installation analysis as required.
- Produce adequate engineering & design documentation as required.
- Undertake offshore trips as required.
- Ensure consistent, efficient and high quality engineering driving safety and overall performance.
- Specific focus towards the installation/construction activities.

- To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of control system for a 24 Subsea isolation valves skid (Valve actuation, Power transmission, SDU, Umbilical, topside HPU and TUTU).
- To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of riser integrity monitoring system (e.g. RACS system).
- To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of Power from shore cable thermal monitoring system.
- To act as specialist for subsea control system.
- To ensure that Subsea control and umbilical are designed in accordance to statutory regulations and guidelines and general Specifications.
- To control and validate scope of work for the subsea control discipline in Detail engineering.
- Participate in SURF tender evaluation for the subsea control and umbilical side.
- Monitoring and management of the Contractor to control that his achievements are in accordance with the contractual requirements.
- Ensure that the procurement activities are handled in a way that the equipment and material will be delivered with the requested quality, in due time and in accordance with Project procedures.
- Assist the commissioning team in his work performance.
- Ensure proper coordination within the site team and timely reporting to his Manager.
- To implement the HSE and QA/QC Project requirements at all stages of the Project. To ensure the compliance of the work with basis of design, project specifications and procedure for exceptions/deviations.
Candidate Requirements -
- 5-10 years’ experience in subsea control design manufacturing and/or installation in projects.
- Good English.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidate Requirements - -3 to 5 years’ experience in Topography, Geodesy (datum and projection systems), Survey, preferably with projects of similar nature (pipeline / subsea developments)
