Job Description | PIPING ENGINEER OSLO, NORWAY - URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR AN INNOVATIVE INTERNATIONAL OPERATOR

OVERVIEW
Ensure that the EPC Contractor is in compliance with the FEED requirements and Company specifications, statutory requirements and applicable rules and regulations throughout detail engineering and construction phases
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Follow-up of EPC Contractor's piping (incl. pipe supports and insulation) engineering, and piping installation
*Review of documentation from EPC Contractor
*Ensure compliance with Company's and NORSOK requirements
*Participate in HAZOP and review meetings
*Focus on identification and handling of risks in layout design
*Focus on handling of interfaces within piping engineering
*Familiarize with piping standards, reports and specifications as established during FEED
*Input to commissioning plans and participate in commissioning
*Co-ordinate and liaise with other The client disciplines and Operations
*Follow-up of LCI documentation
*Contribute to a good working environment within Company EPC Contractor follow-up organisation
*Perform work according to The client's expectations and in accordance with The client's governing documents
REQUIRED SKILLS
*Experience from piping engineering, and follow-up of construction work
*Experience enough to be "self-going" in the daily follow-up of EPC Contractor
*Knowledge to relevant Company requirements
*Structured, systematic and target driven
*Good oral/written Norwegian and English (or at least English)
*Good communication skills
*Team player

Job Description | In this position you will manage day to day operations of a continuous process insulation and fabrication manufacturing unit. Provide high quality design and project management for front-end design, detailed design, preparation of specifications, equipment selection and inspection, application, installation and commissioning for HV infrastructure projects.
Provide detailed engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standards.
Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processes.
Support design/drawing office personnel with specialist engineering input. Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment sourcing.
