Key Tasks:
• Operate and carry out production operations and first line maintenance activities on the process and utility systems as directed by the OIM, within the installation Safety Management System and to the standards demanded by regulatory authorities
• Operate and carry out production operations as directed by the OIM on the process and utilities plant in a safe and efficient manner, being aware of cost effective utilisation of production and utilities system in compliance with statutory requirements
• In the role of Area Authority ensure that all work is performed according to the conditions outlined on the Permit to Work. Identify hazards and access and manage risks
• Manage, monitor and report all discharges and emissions in compliance with Environmental limits
• Carry out the duty allocated by owner/partner during emergencies of Emergency Response Team Leader
• Be available within safety limitations to provide support as required for any installation activities necessary to maintain crew safety and operational efficiency. Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the owner/partner Safety Management System, including platform safety regulations and positively support all safety initiatives and improvements
• Supervise a multi-discipline team of Production Technicians. Provide instruction and guidance to these Technicians to ensure competence development and staff succession. Provide instruction and guidance in the co-ordination of multi-discipline activities. Plan, evaluate and delegate responsibility while retaining accountability. Coach and train Production Technicians and Control Room Operators to ensure competence development and staff succession
• Ensure a safe and comprehensive hand over is given at shift or crew change with all relevant operational and maintenance information to subordinates, peers, and Supervisors
• Report to and deputise for the OIM
• Contribute to personnel selection and performance appraisal
• Contribute to the creation of operational budgets and cost control
Education:
• Bachelor Degree
• Technical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme
• Related technical qualification, ideally HNC or second class marine
• Valid certificate of Emergency Management Competency to OPITO (UK) or similar standards
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years experience in offshore production or maintenance operations.
• Previous operations experience at a similar level of seniority.
• Relevant experience of working overseas in developing countries
Specific knowledge:
• Wellheads including Xmas trees
• Liquid/gas/produced water separation and handling including well test
• Gas compression and conditioning
• Metering and associated analysers
• Pig launchers and receivers
• Fuel conditioning and transport including gas, diesel and aviation fuels
• Flaring, venting and drainage
• Sea water and fresh water conditioning and pumping
• Heating and cooling
• Chemical storage and distribution
• Hazard detection including fire, gas, explosion, occupational, and impact risks
• Hazard protection including extinguish ant delivery and hazard containment
• Escape Evacuation and Rescue and life support including HVAC
• AC & DC electrical power
• Inert gas generation, handling and distribution
• Workshop and laboratory facilities

Key Tasks:
• Maintenance and carry out maintenance activities on the process and utility systems as directed by the OIM, within the installation Safety Management System and to the standards demanded by regulatory authorities
• Provide technical advice where applicable to implementation of maintenance as well as failure analysis; provide relevant advice to assessment of maintenance and equipment performance, giving appropriate recommendation to improvement of facilities and maintenance performance.
• Develop training and CBTA packages and coach and train Maintenance Technicians to ensure competence, development.
• Responsible for ensuring a comprehensive hand over is given by maintenance technicians at shift or crew change with all pertinent operational and maintenance information

Key Tasks:
• Comply with own personal responsibilities within the Owner/Partner policies and procedures, liaise with Onshore Management and support groups ensuring good communication levels are maintained and assist in project planning related to offshore activities
• Take control, manage and coordinate any emergency situation, following the approved procedures. In charge of all Platform Emergencies and responsible for Protection of Platform and Equipment
• Manage and be responsible for the safe day – to – day offshore operation, Act as owner of HSE Safety Management System and ensure that appropriate personnel are aware of their responsibilities therein
• Management and Leadership of all offshore staff and other resources, responsible for the overall performance of the offshore team
• Minimising down time and achieve production targets and definition and implementation of a continuous improvement programme for offshore operations
• Conduct the daily Platform coordination and progress meeting and maintain communications with onshore. Ensure the plans are carried out and report on the progress, highlight any concerns
• Manage the platform maintenance program and ensure timely execution & Completion, implement the Operations plan and ensure regular feedback and inputs
• Responsible for gas nomination and ensure targets are achieved
• Manage the interface requirements with other activities, such as Drilling, Well work-over, Vendors and Visitors, Pigging
• Responsible for the offshore Work Program, review the future plans and comment accordingly
• Conduct routine inspections and audits for all activities, and produce the required reports, ensure efficient Platform administration.
• Maintain the integrity of the Platform, and efficient and safe operations and coordinate the helicopter, boat schedule and grant overall approval for the helicopter operation and oncoming visitors and ensure POB list is compiled
• Ensure all contractors and vendors who perform standard and specialist work on the facility are made aware of their responsibilities for managing health, safety and emergency response
• Revise O&M manuals and procedures as required
• Contribute to the creation of operational budgets and cost control
• Contribute to personnel selection and performance appraisal. Transfer of the knowledge and experience on its position to Vietnamese employees and prepare them for advancement
Education:
• A University degree in any Engineering field
• Must be a certified OIM
• Various technical, Management, safety and other related course
• Valid certificate of Emergency Management Competency to OPITO (UK) or similar standards
Experience:
• 15-year experience in Oil/Gas industry, with at least 5 years experience in supervising multi-ethnic and multi-skilled workforce.
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and responsibility
• Good track record of effective leadership skills in multi – disciplined oil & gas environment.
• Must be conversant with the relevant codes, regulations, standards and safe practices applicable in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Have an establish record as an OIM, with well developed communication, writing and reporting skills
• Experience of working overseas with third world nationals.
Specific knowledge:
• Sound knowledge and competency in hydrocarbon gas production systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, instrument and electrical systems

CDI is currently recruiting for Senior 3D Piping Designers for long term megaprojects in refinery, SAGD, and other oil and gas related facilities design and engineering projects located in Calgary and Edmonton Alberta CANADA
Minimum requirements:
- 7 years design experience with a min of 2 years 3D PDS, or SmartPlant 3D, or AutoPLANT Design experience
- Experienced working on large scale mega projects (refining, upgrading, SAGD, in situ, etc...)
- Preference for those with experience working in a large EPC environment
