Requirements:

SALARY & BENEFITS
• Rotation period: every 91 days of presence in UAE is followed by 15 days leave plus 2 travel days;
• Monthly Salary: 7500 Euro/ month payable in an account of candidate’s choice;

Responsibilities
• Independent processing, management and control of all discipline-specific tasks in the framework of the Piping 3D design for industrial plant engineering
• Quality control and reporting to management
• Compare existing piping plans with P&ID, isometric drawings and available space
• Preparation of an optimal plant arrangement and design of critical piping lines that are relevant for plant arrangement
• Decision-making powers in all technical questions regarding quality and schedule
• Leading small project teams
• Conducting model reviews
Your profile
• Successfully completed engineering studies in the field of Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent
• Comprehensive professional experience in the above area with an internationally oriented company
• 5 to 10 years of experience with the responsible management of large investment projects (> €10 million) in the piping industry
• 2 to 3 years minimum in project management
• Extensive knowledge in 3D design
• High commitment as well as team working skills
• Structured and independent working style
• Excellent command of the English language
• Excellent Design Planning knowledge, in particular in 3D-PDS/ Smart Plant
• Mobility and willingness to travel on monthly business trips and possibly relocate for 6 to 8 months on project execution

The Sr. Pipeline Engineering Specialist shall be conversant in pipeline design and be a technical focal point for the Customer, Pipeline Contractor(s), Vessel Operators, Suppliers/Vendors and other internal department(s). Sr. Engineer / Senior Specialist shall:
• Work in the offshore pipeline group to develop design skills for offshore pipelines that include familiarization with design codes, wall thickness design, pipeline stability, cathodic protection, pipeline expansion, allowable spans, installation analysis and material and construction specifications
• Act as Customer Site (Engineering) Representative as may be required.
• Prepare design documents and ensure project compliance. Support other work as may be required on a time-to-time basis. This may involve, studies, development work, production of guidelines or other similar work The Senior Engineer / Senior Specialist shall ensure that they comply with the Company HSE Policy.
It should be noted that each person has a responsibility for the safety and quality aspects of the work that they undertake. Any questions or concerns relating to HSE and/or the QMS should be brought to the attention of the Team Leader.
