Lead / Senior Loss Prevention/Process Safety Engineers for Qatar & UAE

We are looking for Lead / Senior Loss Prevention / Process Safety Engineers for 6 months contract and then Direct Hire for our client, a European Oil & Gas Engineering Consultancy for Qatar and UAE.

Candidate Profile:

• Candidate should be a persons with design experience for offshore facilities (Not a hard core safety officer from site)
• Experience in and/or knowledge of the following:

Ø      Overall layout with safety separation

Ø      Escape routes and evacuation design – life boats, chutes, scramble nets, knotted rope

Ø      ESD segregation

Ø      Blowdown

Ø      Flare modeling

Ø      PSV sizing and relief scenarios

Ø      Hazardous area classification

Ø      Fire & Gas detection

ü      Active fire fighting

ü      Deluge as per NFPA 15 and 20, ISO 13702

ü      Water curtains

ü      Water mist

ü      Gaseous as per NFPA 2001

Ø      Passive fire protection

Ø      HAZID

Ø      HAZOP

Ø      PHSER

Ø      Knowledge of QRA and consequence modeling
