Minimum 10 years relevant experience primarily in Offshore Oil and Gas Industry
Gulf exp is preferable.
Engineers should hold a degree from a recognised university.
Must have worked as a Project Management Consultant for large EPCM / PMC Contacts within oil and gas industry
Responsible for coordination of the technical area's and coordination with other discipline specialists where areas interface or overlap
Review, Coordination and consolidation of comments for all EPC Contractor deliverables associated to their area of specialization
Fully understand COMPANY technical requirements, for their area of specialisation and the scope of the project input of these requirements into the design work and deliverables of the EPC contractor.
Monitor the quality and progress of the EPC contractor in their area of specialisation. Raise issues from such monitoring to the COMPANY for discussion and resolution with the EPC contractor.
Review other party's documents, such as HSEIA study, Pipeline Route survery results, Geo Technical survey reports

Objective:

Candidate Requirements -
- Provide technical support in order to achieve production targets, carry out approved modifications to meet revised operating and safety parameters while ensuring the integrity of the facilities at all times.
- Provide technical assistance to offshore Operations group for related to mechanical and piping disciplines in order to meet production targets.
- Address mechanical /piping issues during facility upgrade /modification projects.
- Ensure that all upgrades / modifications are in compliance with Company’s specifications as well as applicable international codes/ standards and local government regulations.
- Prepare specifications, work scope etc. for contractors and participate in bidding exercise.
- Oversee the work performed by design contractors and third party vendors.
- Perform site visit to the facilities and contractors work location to ensure that the work is being carried out safely and meets the required quality standards.
- Prepare cost estimates, schedules and budget as per company requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to more junior engineers.
Candidate Requirements -
- A recognized Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in the oil & gas industry.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable codes, standards and company specifications related to mechanical and piping disciplines and ability to apply the same in operation of the facilities.
- Experience in design, fabrication, testing, commissioning and operation of offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Experience and understanding of other disciplines such as structural, instrumentation, electrical etc.
