Following is the Job description:
Principal and Lead Pipeline Engineer to be based in Perth, Australia. The roles offer full relocation packages for single or family status. This is an amazing opportunity for international candidates looking for a move to Australia
Objective:
Responsible for the delivery of design engineering services and to provide pipeline engineering expertise.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Your responsibilities will include other tasks which your manager may instruct you to undertake from time to time.
To act as a focal point/technical authority for pipeline engineering questions throughout the engineering design, construction and installation phases of the pipeline projects.
To provide pipeline engineering input to other disciplines to assure that the design outputs are consistent.
To act as project authority for the review of the pipeline aspects of Designs Bases, design drawings, specifications and installation procedures.
To assist construction and commissioning teams with field questions encountered during installation (eg as related to pipe laying, risers, tie-ins, hydro testing, welding etc.)
To initiate and coordinate tasks needed for project execution including surveys, permitting or government reviews, material specification, installation procedures, testing etc.
Active contribution as a key member of the Engineering Team.
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the team.
Take commercial responsibility for work executed within the teams.
Contribute to business development and tendering activities.
Act as line manager for Pipelines team members.
Qualifications, Experience and Capabilities:
University Engineering Degree
Min 8 years relevant experience in the oil & gas industry
Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment
Proven track record in leading a design engineering team, with the ability to prioritise work to meet company and client deadlines.
Perth is renowned for its warm (sometimes hot), sunny climate, pristine coastline and relaxed lifestyle. Perth is home to vast sandy beaches, fantastic vineyards, pristine national parks and all within a short drive of the CBD
