Job Description
PURPOSE:
Summarize briefly the major function and purpose of the position.
Creates and reviews designs, drawings, DBI’s (Data Base Instructions), specifications, etc. involving existing technology or applications. Ensures that projects meet specifications, standards and performance requirements within area of expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Degree in Engineering. Two to five years experience applying working principles within assigned technical field or MS degree and no experience.
Working knowledge of specific process technologies, procedures, products and applications.
Working knowledge of at least one Subsea or related product line – exposure to other lines. Some knowledge of competitor products.
Demonstrated ability to create functional & cost effective designs that meet specification requirements with supervision.
Demonstrates some capability for conceptualizing designs.
Some understanding of internal economic factors affecting projects to which assigned.
Must be proficient in use of CAD and Database systems related to Engineering functions.
Shows evidence of good organization skills.
