About Client : A leading Construction Co in Singapore for their Construction Projects.
Job Description:
- Able to perform, without supervision, testing, adjusting and balancing of air and/or hydraulic building environmental systems
- Inspects, test, adjusts, and balances heating, cooling, and ventilating systems in commercial, and industrial buildings, using specialized tools and test equipment, to attain performance standards specified in the contract documentations with minimal supervision. \
- Working environments will include occupied and non-occupied office buildings, schools, laboratories, retail establishments, hospitals, animal facilities.
- Virtually all work will be in Singapore and surrounding regions.
Job Duties:
- Studies system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to determine configuration and purpose of system components, such as motors, pumps, fans, switches, ducts, and pipes
- Measurement and adjusting of air and water flows at varying types of air handling equipment including roof top units, air handling units, induction units, exhaust fans, pumps and coils.
- Discusses system malfunctions with users and/or clientele to isolate problems.
- Inspects system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect malfunctions in system component parts.
- Adjusts system controls to settings recommended by the P.E. of Record in preparation to perform tests.
- Tests performance of air and hydraulic systems, using specialized tools and test equipment, such as pitot tube, manometer, anemomenter, velometer, tachometer, psychrometer, and thermomenter, to isolate problems and determine where adjustments are necessary.
- Opens or closes manual volume dampers in system ductwork to adjust flow control valves in piping to balance systems.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of test & balance experience.
- Direct Digital Controls (D.D.C.) experience/knowledge relating to Siemens, JCI, or Trane products/equipment
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Professional attire and good communication skills a must
- Additional Skills Desired:
- AABC/NEBB certification a plus
